ASMAC CLE Meeting

The ASMAC Annual Meeting is a fantastic opportunity to connect with medical association general counsel, advocates and other high-level legal and policy experts. This is one of ASMAC's larger meetings and a great opportunity to engage with members from across the country who are working on the same issues. Presentations by leading experts and industry professionals on thoughtfully selected issues will help sharpen your understanding and connect you with resources to better help your members, clients and organizations.

Conference Registration:

Your registration fee includes all general sessions and refreshments. Registration scholarships are available. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information. Earlybird registration expires May 12, 2023.

  • In Person Registration:   Early Bird: $175.00  |  After May 12: $225.00
  • Virtual Registration:       Early Bird: $125.00  |  After May 12: $175.00

 Conference Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received on or before May 31, 2024, will be refunded in full, less a $50 administrative processing fee. Requests for refunds received after this deadline will be considered on an individual basis following the meeting. Please include an explanation of any extenuating circumstances. Cancellations and refund requests received after June 10, 2024 will be considered no-shows and registration fees will not be refunded. Submit cancellation requests to ASMAC at [email protected]. 

Travel & Lodging

This meeting takes place in conjunction with the AMA Annual House of Delegates meeting that runs from June 9-14, 2023. This is a great meeting for ASMAC members who are already in Chicago and are able to take time on Monday when HOD business sessions are taking place. This is always a well-attended and productive meeting. (HOD Annual Meeting agenda and schedule)

CLE Credit

The ASMAC Annual Meeting program is generally eligible for 4 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits. ASMAC Applies for credit from the MCLE Board in Illinois. Attendees will receive a certificate of CLE credit showing that credit for the course has been approved in Illinois. Attendees will be responsible for applying for credit in their own state.

SAFE TRAVEL GUIDANCE

For the 2024 ASMAC Annual Meeting, we will again follow all AMA rules and guidance related to providing proof of Covid-19 vaccination and mask requirements. (AMA Health and Safety)

  • Attendees are strongly encouraged to be up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations per CDC guidelines. 
  • Attendees should test for COVID-19 if exhibiting any symptoms prior to the departure for the annual meeting, while attending the meeting, and/or following their return home after the meeting. Attendees should not participate in the meeting if, at any point, they test positive before or during the annual meeting.
  • CDC recommendations or requirements of Chicago and Illinois in effect at the time of the meeting will be enacted and enforced.
  • Masks are welcome but not required. Anyone who wishes to wear a mask is welcome to do so.
